　　The establishment of Jilin Star International Education Institution in 1997
was supported by the Jilin Province Education Association for International Exchange. Our
headquarters is located in the city of Changchun, capital of Jilin province, P.R. China. It
consists of four business entities; Star International Education & Exchange Institute, Star
Adult Education and Training Center, Changchun Broadcasting & Television University Star
Branch and Jilin Star Overseas Affairs Service Co. Ltd. Changchun Star International
Education & Exchange institution is a Sino-Foreign associated education institution approved
by the Department of Education of Jilin Province. Its programs include: International
Foundation Courses, IELTS Courses, TOFEL Courses, GRE/GMAT Courses, BEC Courses, CET
Courses, etc. Changchun Broadcasting & Television University Star Branch is accredited
by China Broadcasting & Television University to grant College /University Diplomas. Jilin
Star Overseas Affairs Service Co., Ltd offers professional overseas affairs service which is
approved by the State Ministry of Public Security, with the license number [2002]0009.
Changchun Star Adult Education and Training Center passed the co-exam by the Department
of Education of Jilin Province, Department of Public Security of Jilin Province, and Foreign
Affairs Office of Jilin Province Government and was authorized by the State Administration
of Foreign Experts Affairs for the purpose of recruiting foreign teachers and experts. It is
appointed by Changchun Citizen Common English Project Office as “Citizens Common
English Training Base” and is also an authorized training center of Cambridge Youth
Learners English, KET, PET, FCE, CAE, CPE, as well as training center for teachers of
Cambridge Youth Learners English courses. It has an outstanding teacher’s team under the coordination and administration of Professor Yang Yujie, team leader in the northeast for
Cambridge Youth Learners English Test examinations, and training official for BEC, KET and
PET teachers,and also the former supervisor of Northeast Normal University.

　　　

Until now and presently many teachers form from the UK, USA, Canada, South Africa,
etc, have worked or are working with us. Our foreign teachers are all excellent teachers,
being native English speakers with teaching experience or TESOL/TEFL certificates. Through
the years, we have established a deep friendship with them. With our business expanding
throughout Jilin Province, more and more opportunities are being presented to foreign
teachers. Aimed at the largest and most professional education institution in northeastern
China; we sincerely welcome people from age 20 to 50, Native English Speakers, non-native
English speakers with TESOL/TEFL certification and those able to teach other subjects in
English like Math, Science, Computer Science, etc to join us. No knowledge of Mandarin is
required, and our province is the best place to learn standard mandarin and people in the
